1 GAME, 1 MONTH
I thought it was time to make a QUICK AND SIMPLE game. In the past, I always begin to work on overly ambitious projects. I know it's a common mistake people make and I keep falling into the same traps! I've set myself the challenge to make a game within the space of 1 month. I HAVE to share updates, regardless of what state the game is in, and all the things that occurred along the way.
GDC
This week, I have been lucky enough to attend GDC and I have been researching other developers that like to create quick-fire games and it has inspired me to set myself the goal of creating a game in the space of a month!
There is a lot I still need to learn within Unity, and I've only been coding for a short amount of time, so I'll have to make something within my capabilities but I think it's good as it will force me to set limits on what I create.
FAIL FAST
All I've heard in the talks I've attended so far (mainly game design talks) this week have been, to FAIL FAST. So that's exactly what I'm going to do! I'm going to throw all of my ideas down, no matter how crazy they are, and just see where they take me.
LETS GO!
I'll make a blog post each week with my progress and all the interesting things that happened along the way. This will probably start from when I return home from GDC, as it's way too chaotic here to get anything done!
